About Dr. Spector:

Dr. Shifra Spector is a post-doctoral fellow at Sue Bae Ph.D and Associates. With a masters degree in school psychology from Touro College and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Chicago,  Dr. Spector has been trained to evaluate, diagnose, and work therapeutically  with individuals across the age span.

Dr. Spector has practiced in a variety of clinical settings treating children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked with individuals with diagnoses ranging from adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and developmental disorders, amongst others. 

Dr. Spector is passionate about empowering clients to create and utilize the skills needed to overcome the challenges that they are currently facing. Therapy is a powerful tool which Dr. Spector uses, together with the client, to identify patterns of behaviors that can be adjusted in order to be happier and more successful in one's life. Dr. Spector is very enthusiastic about her work and uses humor and honesty to connect to clients and help them along their therapeutic journey. She believes strongly in multicultural competence and is interested in working with diverse populations.
