About Dr. Rhodes:
Dr. Rhodes is a licensed clinical psychologist and has experience providing treatment to adults, adolescents, children and families presenting with various psychological concerns. She also is experienced in conducting thorough psychological and psychoeducational testing with children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Rhodes received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Adler University located in Chicago, IL. She received clinical training in several settings community mental health centers, grade schools, and college counseling centers. In she refined her working with children, adolescents adults who were seeking treatment for a wide variety of mental health concerns.
In practice, Dr. Rhodes focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship. She feels that building trust and understanding is fundamental to tailoring the treatment provided. Dr. Rhodes is invested in using practices, supported by research Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She values the role of education and specialization in practice, and is constantly incorporating additional evidence-based interventions to address specific treatment needs.
Dr. Rhodes believes it is important to understand individuals within their context to fully understand and address the problem. She strives to integrate systems (school, family, work, community, etc.) to inform treatment and promote goal achievement. She has of cultural and diversity factors that influence health and wellness.
